A couple of years ago, “Empire” was the phenomenon, which swept the nation. The series was the most-viewed show in television history, during the first season of the show. At times, during season two, and season three, “Empire” also had monstrous viewership numbers.
Much of the reason “Empire” is so popular is due to Taraji P. Henson, and her portrayal of Cookie Lyon. The chemistry Cookie has with Lucious (Terrence Howard) is electric, to say the least. Coming into this season, the two were on the verge of getting back together.
Taraji P. Henson is finding herself at the center of some crazy rumors, about leaving “Empire.” Some have said she is leaving the series, following episode four of this season. But, Taraji P. Henson spoke with “Extra,” shutting these rumors down, on the spot!
