This morning, Jhene Aiko had the element of surprise on her side. A few days ago, she released Trip, a short film that many people decided to check out. What no one realized was the film was actually part one of her new album, with the music being the second part.
Jhene Aiko came through with the Trip album and it’s loaded with some big features. Featuring her boyfriend, Big Sean, on the album wasn’t much of a surprise, nor was the Swae Lee feature. But, she landed some industry legends in Brandy and John Mayer.
After releasing the album, Jhene Aiko stopped by Beats 1 Radio, where she and Zane Lowe spoke. In this interview clip, Jhene Aiko discussed the collaborations on the album. She also spoke on some of her upcoming work.
