This whole situation with Kenneka Jenkins is one of the saddest stories to hit, in recent memory. Overall, it’s saddening that each summer sees at least one young person die. Despite all the speculation, at the very least, it’s comforting that this was no violent death.
Kenneka Jenkins, according to the video footage, simply made a wrong turn, at the wrong time. That footage of her turned out to be the last time she was seen, as a living person. As a parent, or close loved one, it is hard to accept that something that simple cost a life.
However, it appears as if Kenneka Jenkins’ mother, Teresa Martin, many have finally gotten the closure she was looking for. The reason for that statement is due to her social media activity. After all of the press, she took to her Instagram to share their final memory, them dancing and lip-syncing together.
