#TrueToTheGame movie debuted in movie theaters, last week, and has grossed $500,000 as an independent film [PHOTO]

Last Friday, True To The Game hit theaters, starring Columbus Short and Vivica A. Fox. Cast members also include the late Nelsan Ellis, Draya Michelle, and Andra Fuller, among others. The movie is an independent, black-produced film.

True To The Game is one of the first movies, of its kind. This film follows a legacy built by the likes of Tyler Perry, as black independent film producers making some major productions. Definitely, the movie was not lacking for star power.

Following the first weekend, True To The Game is a resounding success, in the box office. Remember, this film is 100%, completely, independent. The movie has grossed $500,000 from the first two days’ worth of sales.
