What people were reminded of, these past few weeks, is that mother nature does not discriminate. Hurricane Harvey ripped right through Houston, destroying everything destroy-able. Not much later, Irma did the same thing in the Caribbean and went on to flood Charleston.
Because of Hurricane Irma entering the United States, and into the top vacation city, Miami, at that, what happened in the islands is beginning to be overlooked. But, these tiny island nations are still in need of much help. The island of Anguilla has taken quite the beating from Irma.
Almost a week after Hurricane Irma hit, Anguilla is still devastated and in need of help. The island is still dealing with flooding, with water that has yet to recede. As a result, a plethora of homes have been destroyed.
