However, 2017 is also the year where Jay-Z launched his comeback, where Remy Ma cemented her status, and Nicki Minaj came back strongly. On top of that, a lot of younger artists established themselves. Tonight, Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Yachty showed up big time.
Aside from them, Kodak Black also has had an amazing run. But, as the year is entering its final months, Kendrick Lamar has shown himself to be a winner with the fans. He won the Video of the Year with “Humble” and, honestly, he deserved it.
