Hip hop’s current Cinderella story is Cardi B, who has overcome a lot of obstacles to become music’s newest star. Her rise, as a dancer, led her to become a popular social media figure. The social media popularity led to VH1 casting her for “Love & Hip Hop.”
Cardi B went straight from her second season on “Love & Hip Hop” to a deal with Atlantic Records. In a summer where rap veterans have owned it, Cardi B carved out her own niche. Best of all, she has remained humble and kept it all the way 100%.
However, a Milwaukee promoter who brought Cardi B to his city for a mini concert is calling BS on her. He said he had to put down a nonrefundable $10,000 deposit, only for her to miss her flight and do another show in between. Upon arriving in Milwaukee, he claims she had a bad attitude and did not apologize for what happened.
