HHV Exclusive: Swift talks “Pull Up” success, Durham hip hop, Atlanta, and more with G Moniy at Fleet DJs Conference

Despite the bubbling scenes in Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Wilmington, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, the NC hip hop scene is slept on. It’s a shame, because Swift really took off, last summer. Too bad most people didn’t even realize he’s from NC.

Swift, also known as Young Swift and Swiffa Baby, is a proud native of the Bull City, Durham. Last year, Swift signed with Epic Records, and released his hit single, “Pull Up.” The year since then has been a crazy, but good, experience for him.

At the 2017 Fleet DJs Conference, Swift talked to G Moniy for Hip-HopVibe.com. Here, he discussed his “Pull Up” success, and how he is striving for more, which his “Show Me” single with Quavo could be. But, in his HHV interview, he spoke on NC, being a Durham native, making moves in Atlanta, and more.
