Four years ago, August Alsina was a virtual no-name, but Def Jam took a chance on him. Before the year of 2013 ended, August Alsina was a household name. Early in 2014, August Alsina solidified his stardom, crafting big records with Nicki Minaj and DJ Khaled.
In 2016, August Alsina took time away from the spotlight. One thing he often spoke about, in his music and interviews, was his dysfunctional home life. Previous comments about his mother led to August’s mom calling him out.
Last night, however, it was all peace between August and Mama Alsina, as they shared a moment. While he was performing, his mother came onto the stage. These two shared their beautiful reunion with the entire world.
