Every year, DJ Khaled returns and crafts a few big records with the game’s biggest stars. The only album where he hasn’t done this is his latest album. With Grateful, DJ Khaled has focused on big singles, as opposed to tons of big features.
DJ Khaled’s last massive collaboration record was “Do You Mind,” last year’s hit. That track featured August Alsina, Jeremih, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Future, and Rick Ross. Now, after almost a year, the song has gone platinum.
With the song having gone platinum, DJ Khaled owes plaques to his collaborators. When giving Nicki Minaj her plaque, DJ Khaled had his mini-me, Ashad personally deliver it to her. The moment was so precious that Nicki Minaj had to share it on Instagram.
