Exactly a week from now, on August 4, The Dark Tower premieres in movie theaters. The movie stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey, playing rivals. Roland Deschain (Elba), the last gunslinger, is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim (McConaughey).
It is the battle between Deschain, the last gunslinger (Elba), and O’Dim, the man in black (McConaughey) that sets the stage for the drama. A battle between good and evil is taking place. The last gunslinger is trying to protect the Dark Tower, as it holds the universe together.
If the trailers are any indication, this movie is one of the must-see films for the summer of 2017. The opportunity to see Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey face-off, as two of the biggest actors in the industry, is something most film buffs can’t pass up. Now, fans in Houston and Cicero, IL have the chance to see it early, for free, and the tickets are all first come, first serve.
