Ever since entertainment became an industry and entertainers could get rich, groupies have become a thing. The actual phrase, “groupie,” has become slang term for anyone trying to associate with the industry. It gets ironic, as people who actually fit the description dislike it.
Truth be told, the actual groupies are usually not thirsty for fame. Quite the opposite, a lot of women, and some men, are sold on the famous person falling in love with them, and wanting to start a life. This is what happened with @realhoneyv.
@realhoneyv is a model, popular via Instagram, and she’s been dealing with Famous Dex, a popular rapper. Backing up this, she has shared text messages with him, photos from their FaceTime sessions, and even him promising her $600 if she flew out to see him. She went on Instagram Live to blast Dex for cutting her off, once she told him she was pregnant.
