Way back in 2013, YFN Lucci was dropping mixtapes, but was overshadowed by his peers. That span of time saw Young Scooter taking over the game, before his untimely prison sentence. Then, the game was taken over by Migos and Rich Homie Quan.

Alongside those two, K Camp broke through in 2014, but YFN Lucci continued steadily working. Last summer, YFN Lucci managed to score a hit with “Key To The Streets,” which went platinum. Now, YFN Lucci is one of the biggest rising stars in the game.

YFN Lucci stopped by Hot 97, talking to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. While he was there, he spoke on the new rappers who are coming up, leading to a conversation about XXL. He also discussed Ashanti, one of social media’s biggest thirst traps.
