After taking four years off, 2 Chainz made his return with his newest album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. The album had a unique promo run, starting with the Pretty Girls Like Trap Music playlists. This, up until the pink trap houses, led the album promo.
2 Chainz’s return was aided by Nicki Minaj, who was a frequent collaborator early in his career. Upon his return, Nicki Minaj is in the midst of her Remy Ma beef. So, her verse on his album has Nicki Minaj giving Remy Ma her official response.
Recently, 2 Chainz stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” talking about his new album with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He spoke on the album, Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, not going to the White House, appearing with Kanye West after Jay-Z line, and his career frustrations. Chainz also spoke on DTP and Ludacris still owing him $15,000.
