Despite the critical acclaim of To Pimp A Butterfly, it looked as if Kendrick Lamar would not reach the success of good kid, m.A.A.d. city again. In fact, it seemed as if he was on his way out. When he suddenly returned with Damn., things changed.
Kendrick Lamar chose an unusual title for his album and he delivered a summer anthem in “Humble.” If not for DJ Khaled and Future’s total domination of the summer, Kendrick Lamar would be top dawg. But, no matter what his music does, he is top dawg.
Recently, Kendrick Lamar stopped by Real 92.3 in LA, speaking with Big Boy. During their interview, he spoke about his new album, and all the public scrutiny over the car he bought his sister. Seeing what he’s doing with the game, Kendrick Lamar went ahead and crowned himself the GOAT.
