Dwight Howard talks joining Charlotte Hornets, reuniting with Steve Clifford, and reestablishing his career as a dominant player [VIDEO]

The possibility of the Charlotte Hornets being an actual good team on a regular basis is too good to be true. Ever since the Dwight Howard trade happened, fans have been trying to turn this into a negative. But, there is a solid debate on who starts between Howard and Cody Zeller.

One thing is for sure, if Charlotte held onto half of their 20-point leads from 2017, Kemba Walker would have been an MVP candidate. So, this led to a retool. With Dwight Howard, the Hornets are good for at least another 48-34 season.

Dwight Howard spoke with the Charlotte media during his introductory press conference. Alongside him was Steve Clifford, his former assistant coach with the Orlando Magic. During the conference, Howard spoke highly of Nic Batum, saying he reminds him of Hedo Turkoglu, his right-hand man during the Magic’s epic 2009 Finals run.
