Unless there are people who really love pop culture trivia, or the random chance there were fans, 3LW was virtually forgotten. The group was essentially gutted to create The Cheetah Girls, anyway. Over a decade later, Naturi Naughton rose to fame.
Naturi Naughton was the 3LW lead singer, but she didn’t follow the group over to The Cheetah Girls. Instead, she opted to do her own thing, shifting her focus to acting. This led to “Power,” where she plays opposite Omari Hardwick’s lead character.
Ahead of the “Power” season premiere, taking place now, Hot 97 caught up with Naturi Naughton. She was speaking with Ebro, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg. During the interview, Naturi Naughton spoke on the apology she received from Adrienne Bailon, Lil’ Kim, and the new season of “Power.”
