When Remy Ma came after Nicki Minaj, she did just like she said she would on “The Breakfast Club.” No subliminal shots, everything personal, names being called. That “ShETHER” joint was so strong that the Nicki Minaj response had to be hard.
Nicki Minaj ignored the record for about a month, linking up with Future for some project that has never come. But, she used her Drake and Lil Wayne reunion to respond. That “No Frauds” record not only responded to Remy, it became a hit single.
Everybody should remember the 2 Chainz/Nicki Minaj relationship. It is back on his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album. Nicki Minaj makes an appearance on that album and she comes back, hard, directly at Remy Ma, saying Papoose wrote “ShETHER” and then asking if Nas clear the record, as it got removed from all streaming platforms.
