Before Tupac died, he did create a crew that he hoped to also bring into the spotlight. This group was Tha Outlawz and they had a run of success, which began just before Tupac died. The group, however, did not enjoy major success for long.
In 1996, Tupac featured them on “Hit ‘Em Up,” his infamous East Coast diss record. On that track, Tupac aired out everyone, including Jay Z and Nas, but that line was omitted from the record. However, a quick search on YouTube shows it, too.
Tha Outlawz spoke to Sway at “Sway In The Morning” about Tupac, in light of the All Eyez on Me movie premiere. During the interview, they told all kinds of Tupac stories. Then, they got into the drama with Funk Flex and Treach.
