Yesterday, Lil Durk released a new single called “The One,” featuring his girlfriend, Dej Loaf. That single was the second of their relationship anthems. If they continue to do couple songs, they will have one similarity with Jay Z and Beyonce.
Rappers are open about wanting a situation like that one. Earlier in his career, Kanye West often spoke of wanting a Beyonce for himself. When he got with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West proclaimed that he finally had his Beyonce.
Meanwhile, Lil Durk didn’t actually release his single “The One.” He sent it to a person and they leaked it, which disappointed him. To ease the pain, he also discovered “My Beyonce” had gone gold.
