It’s almost hard to go back and watch those early Kyrie Irving seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Those seasons are the complete opposite of what Kyrie has experienced with Cleveland since 2014. He went from no playoffs to going to the Finals every year.
Kyrie Irving proved he was built for this life when he ended up being the one to end the Golden State Warriors’ historic run. Had it not been for the Kyrie Irving game-winner, the Warriors would have had overtime. A move like that may have cost him his ring.
Yesterday, Kyrie Irving spoke with the media following practice. He spoke on the 2016 NBA Finals, where he put himself on the map. Then, he talked about this year’s Finals, and what is expected in this year’s Finals, against the new-look Warriors, boasting the Curry/Thompson/Green combo, plus Kevin Durant.
