It’s crazy that for most of 2011, only a select few people even know who the heck Future was. Only a few months later, Future would become a major force in music. On consecutive singles, Future got remixes from Drake, T.I., Diddy, Ludacris, and Lil Wayne.

Little did many know that Ludacris’ transition would be permanent and that Future would take that space. This new era is called the “new Atlanta,” or it was before Future ended that. But, Future is the leader of the current era and he’s not slowing down.

What he received, this afternoon, is helping his status as a king of the game. Today, Future received a plaque for his album sales, streams, and his single sales. Since 2011, Future has scored hits in “Magic,” “Turn On The Lights,” “Karate Chop,” “Move That Dope,” “Commas,” “Where Ya At?,” “Mask Off,” and more.
