Typically, the goal is to be unbiased, but it’s hard not to look at the facts with this one. Maybe Zaza Pachulia didn’t try to injure Kawhi Leonard, but why was he in his landing space? Another question, have things gone better for the Warriors with Kawhi out?
This isn’t an article bashing the Golden State Warriors, they’re an impressive team. But, the reason fans have wanted them to face off with the San Antonio Spurs is because they can give the Warriors competition. Every good team needs it, think 2005 Heat vs. Pistons.
Zaza Pachulia and his play robbed real NBA fans of what should have been a thrilling Western Conference Finals. That’s why there was no sympathy when he went down, not like it would bother the Warriors. But, the fans are clearly way more upset, as they’re calling the whole Warriors’ team dirty, which isn’t quite fair, either.
