John Wall and Bradley Beal talk breaking Wizards’ curse in closeout games, Game 7 in Boston, and Wall’s game-winning shot in post-game interview [VIDEO]

Last night, John Wall established himself as a great player in the NBA and the greatest player in Washington Wizards’ history. In the Wall era, the Wizards have had strong playoff success. However, they have never been able to get past Game 6 of the second round.

Isaiah Thomas’ Boston Celtics have been considered by many to be the weakest number one seed in history, by pundits. The Celtics had tragedy strike before the playoffs, allowing the Bulls to go up 2-0 against them at home. But, they rebounded and drew Washington.

John Wall and Bradley Beal have always known they were capable of beating the Celtics. Most fans even said Wizards in 6, which will not be the case, for the obvious reasons, but John Wall guaranteed a Game 7 with his game-winner. The two spoke to the press, after the game, about how they ended the Wizards’ Game 6 curse, beating the Celtics, and his shot.
