Late last summer, Young M.A. emerged to gain mainstream stardom, behind the “OooUuu” single. The record really took off, as the fall approached and gained her international fame. Until her emergence, there were questions about a rapper with her style breaking through.
But, Young M.A. ended up taking the game by storm. Soon, she was rubbing shoulders with Nicki Minaj and Beyonce. These co-signs led to the biggest co-sign for a New York rapper, Jay Z, which has propelled her to new heights.
Young M.A. stopped by Hot 97, where she spoke with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. When she came in, she discussed “Empire,” where she turned a role down, before talking about Jay Z, one of her idols. She would also speaking on the dating scene and the rap scene in New York.
