There was one job the Cleveland Cavaliers had to do, today. They had to go into Toronto and beat the Raptors. Barely even ten minutes ago, they did that behind strong play from LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and new addition, Kyle Korver. Believe it, DeMar DeRozan did not make it easy.
DeMar DeRozan was forced to carry the Raptors, when the series shifted to Toronto. During Game 2, Kyle Lowry sustained an injury and sat out Game 3, then chose to take Game 4 off. That decision ended up being fatal for the Raptors, who came into the season with high hopes.
LeBron James, meanwhile, is going back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the seventh straight time. Before that, he talked to Lisa Salters about the win, the Raptors’ strong play, Kyrie Irving, Kyle Korver, and DeRozan. Now, he is getting some much-needed rest, before playing the Celtics or Wizards.
