Fetty Wap will guest star on #Empire next week, but will not be playing as himself

Since 2014, Fetty Wap has been good money, out here. He started with a viral song on the internet that led to him getting into rotation on Hot 97 and Power 105.1. Then, Fetty Wap moved onto being co-signed by the music royalty of Jay Z, Kanye West, and Beyonce.

Fetty Wap worked overtime to build an impressive movement. Not only has he done this for himself, but Remy Boy Monty has also become a big figure in the game. There are few things Fetty Wap hasn’t managed to accomplish, so he is marking those things off, too.

Next week, Fetty Wap will join the list of rappers to appear on “Empire,” joining Birdman, French Montana, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg, and a host of others. However, Fetty Wap’s role will be less like Birdman and Snoop Dogg, and more like Xzibit and French Montana. He will be playing an actual character, as opposed to playing as himself.
