Over the past few years, Funkmaster Flex has lost a lot of support from the fans. There was a time when Funkmaster Flex was considered the top “real” DJ in the game. His contributions were a big reason Hot 97 was the number one station.
But, his constant focus on insults to the Power 105.1 staff, which includes DJ Clue and DJ Envy, formerly of Hot 97, things changed. It only got worse when Angie Martinez left for Power 105. Then, Flex began ranting on artists such as Jay Z, Drake, and Nicki Minaj.
His persistent insults on Tupac re-started, this morning, as Funk Flex decided to speak on the Quad Studios shooting. Already, it’s been established that Jimmy Henchman, not The Notorious B.I.G., was behind the shooting. But, him recounting it, and bringing Lil’ Cease into the drama, got him an epic roasting on Twitter.
