Every year, around this time, it gets real for the Los Angeles Clippers. It is during this time when the Clippers get ready to go into the second round and people think THIS might be the year. But, every time, something goes wrong, and they get stuck.
Then, there are times like last season, where the injuries stop them from being able to properly compete. The Clippers did lose Blake Griffin, which has become almost expected. But, Chris Paul didn’t let the Jazz capitalize on this.
Because of the Clippers’ history of coming up short in the playoffs, fans already got jokes, heading into Game 7. Yes, the Clippers lost in the first round, last year, to Portland, but that was in six games, and Blake Griffin AND Chris Paul were injured. So, before going into the jokes, know the Clippers get busy in Game 7, they even knocked off the Spurs, defending a title in a first round Game 7.
