What’s ironic about the Nicki Minaj/Remy Ma beef is how it has vicariously revived the Foxy Brown/Lil’ Kim beef. Of course, since the emergence of Nicki Minaj, she and Lil’ Kim were pit against one another. The two traded their fair share of disses in 2010-2011.
However, since Remy Ma was released from prison, the media has pit her against Nicki Minaj. Overlooked in all of this was Foxy Brown, who is a Nicki Minaj supporter. Early on, though, it was rumored that Foxy also had choice words for Nicki.
Whatever the case, following Remy Ma and Lil’ Kim taking their photo together, Nicki Minaj posted Foxy Brown on her Instagram. Unrelated to that, Foxy Brown ended up being called out by the organizer of a black gay pride event. They accused Foxy Brown of showing up late, not performing, only sitting in the corner while a hype person played, and being booed off stage.
