As “Empire” continues, it is clear Lucious (Terrence Howard) is harboring a ton of secrets, more than initially believed. When the spring season of “Empire” began, Andre (Trai Byers) had a new plan. He joined forces with Shine (Xzibit) to take Lucious down.
First, he wanted to bring Empire to Las Vegas, where they met the new star of the season. Here, Giuliana (Nia Long) was introduced and when she met the Empire crew, it was clear more than what was shown was going on. Unsurprisingly, she and Lucious had a history.
Tonight, some of the beats of this history have played out. The fans have had a lot to say about the interactions between Lucious and Giuliana. Of course, movie fans know their history, as Terrence Howard played Nia Long’s abusive ex on Big Momma’s House.
