On the heels of “Do You Mind,” featuring Chris Brown, Jeremih, August Alsina, Future, Nicki Minaj, and Rick Ross, blowing up, DJ Khaled made another announcement. The Miami DJ revealed he had a new album in the works. This album has a special collaborator.
While “Do You Mind” was still getting radio play, DJ Khaled finally landed his Beyonce/Jay Z track, “Shining.” The song has become huge, as the summer is approaching. In terms of potential summer anthems, this track is definitely up there.
Due to Jay Z and Beyonce being the featured artists, it’s unlikely that a music video will come. When he last worked with Jay Z, DJ Khaled said he didn’t even want to bother Jay with a video, seeing how he was grateful for the verse. His new album, GRATEFUL, is coming soon, and Khaled is celebrating “Shining” reaching number one in urban.
