Bre-Z is a native of Philadelphia, which is actually very ironic. A recurring character on “Empire,” Bre-Z’s Freda Gatz often plays opposite Lucious (Terrence Howard), and his kids, who are all from Philadelphia, on the show. But, focused on her real music and real career, Bre-Z offered “UP” as her latest record.
