Not too long ago, Paul George was considered the biggest threat to LeBron James. On top of that, the Pacers were a legitimate threat and one of the NBA’s best teams. The last time the Pacers were that relevant, Reggie Miller was playing and not commentating.

Paul George plays a completely different role than Reggie Miller, but like him, he’s the Pacers’ leader. So far, George’s playoff record is almost identical to Miller’s with the heartbreaking losses. For a while, they had a rivalry with LeBron’s Miami Heat and now one with his Cavs.

Tonight, Paul George and his Pacers looked like they were going to make this into a real series. Too bad for them that LeBron James turned it up and went King James on the Pacers, leading the Cavaliers back from 25 down to take a 3-0 series lead. Now, the fans on NBA Twitter are questioning who Paul George will blame on the loss, with Lance Stephenson being a target.
