Through his career, Big Sean has always made hit records, but he seemed to always lack that one piece to put him over the top. Early in his career, as a known artist, Big Sean even had a big record with Nicki Minaj. Since then, he’s had several Drake anthems, but has still lacked.
All of this changed when Big Sean dropped “Bounce Back,” and it didn’t even have any features. The track is addictive and shows Big Sean can hang with any of the stars in the game. But, the position he’s held is similar to the one Wale complains about, often.
Big Sean has major denotes to his name, as he helped G.O.O.D. Music establish itself as a premier destination. Also, Big Sean helped Detroit and Def Jam, respectively, return to prominence in the rap game. Now, Big Sean has done something for himself, as his “Bounce Back” single is double platinum, something he celebrated on his Instagram.
