Through the years, “Empire” has done well with their celebrity castings, as they draw a fine line. During season two, some felt they overdid it with the celebrity cameos. However, they do more than stunt casting, as even celebrities playing themselves have relevant roles.
Season three saw Giuliana (Nia Long) make her debut, as Andre (Trai Byers) feels she can help the company generate more business. She is opening the door to Las Vegas, even though Lucious (Terrence Howard) has reservations about the city. But, Giuliana has her own plans.
While the ladies are into Giuliana’s story, especially her impending feud with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). However, the same as they were over twenty years ago, the men are here for Nia Long. They are giving her props for “black don’t crack,” meanwhile those following the story say Giuliana is a “bad bitch,” but can’t hang with Empire’s queen, Cookie.
