In the end, that scene with Kenya and Phaedra driving with the top down was a big tease. Only three episodes existed, this season, where there was a Kenya/Phaedra friendship. According to both Phaedra and also Kandi, there will never be a Phaedra/Kandi friendship, again.
However, ironically, there does appear to be a Kandi/Kenya friendship, even though Kandi was reluctant. Early on, Kandi took to Porsha, who has always had issues with Kenya. Also, Kenya quickly clashed with Phaedra, then Kandi’s BFF.
The friendship shifts were gradual, yet swift, over the past five years of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” On tonight’s episode, Phaedra talked with Porsha about her friendship with Kandi, saying she wished the best for her. This led Kenya to call “bull” on Twitter, as she pointed out Phaedra helping Johnny launch his lawsuit against Kandi.
