One of the bigger names in the XXX world, Lauren Phillips, got into the industry for different reasons than most. She was first attracted, as she learned the world of swinging. From there, she ended up getting involved in the adult industry.
Legions of fans will forever appreciate Lauren Phillips for the choice she made. No question, she has “inspired” legions of people who have become her amazing collection of followers. To those fans, she decided to give them some insight.
For the March edition of #ThirstTrapThursday, Lauren Phillips opened up on her background. She discussed her New Jersey upbringing and how she ended up making moves. During the interview, she also talked about how this has impacted her personal life, and some other ambitions.

We understand that you are from New Jersey. How did growing up and going to high school in Jersey affect your future? Coming from New Jersey, I think Jersey gave me my smarts, confidence and social skills to network myself in an industry where these skills are all important.
Are you a natural redhead or did you just adapt that color and why? I’m natural redhead. I got the color for my father side of the family. My uncle is also a redhead.
What do you like the best about making adult movies? I love the characters I get to play and I get to work in an industry I love. It’s not a job when you love every moment of it. It’s a lifestyle.
Do you find that being a porn star is intimidating to men? No, I don’t think so. I think the business side of the industry can intimidate men. The business side of porn is running a corporation with taxes, marketing, editing, etc. It’s a lot of work at the end of the day.
How did making your first adult movie come about? I decided to move to Florida and so I packed up my car. I drove the 16 hours by myself and met up with John Burne in Miami. He explained a little about the industry and booked my first shoot.
How did you get into the swinging lifestyle? Swinging, I fell into. I was researching about the adult industry and found a swinger site. I just looked into more and fell in love with it. I went to a club in Atlantic City called Roleplay Lounge and found out first hand if I liked it or not. I LOVED IT! Met a lot of great people and decided I want to continue with it.
If you met someone (male or female) who was considering the lifestyle, what would you advise them? New people that are looking into the Swinger World and if they don’t really know the world, I always tell them to research and ask questions. Swingers are extremely nice and always want someone new to understand the rules.
What do you like to do to relax? I love to read, play video games, and watch movies to relax. Sometime I’ll take a long bath at night as well.
What are your favorite types of music and favorite artists? I love all types of music, because I was a professional dancer for several years, so my dance teachers brought all types and styles of music. I love 90s, alternative, Acoustics, Metal, rock and oldies. My favorite artists are Flyleaf, Madonna, David Bowie, Disturbed, Elvis, Michael Jackson, B-52s, Beatles and more.
