One of the emerging Brooklyn rappers, out here, is Casanova, and he is also Roc Nation’s extended family. Hailing from the same neighborhood as Jay Z and Memphis Bleek, Bleek signed him. He is a member of the label, Warehouse Music Group, which is under Roc Nation.
Casanova delivered his debut mixtape, Be Safe Tho, this weekend, to positive reviews. Another era of New York City rappers are emerging and Casanova is one of the leaders. His mixtape title borrows the closing phrase from Taxstone on his podcast.
Recently, Casanova stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he talked with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. They talked about the influence Taxstone has had on him and their relationship. He would also discuss being locked up with A$AP Rocky, and working with Chris Brown.
