Watching Ice Cube evolve from the toughest rapper in gangsta rap into the ultimate TV host has been an amazing pleasure. Looking at him, even pre-NWA, shows that anyone can do anything, if they want to. A glance at Ice Cube proves he wanted to become the face of hip hop.
Last night, in addition to an interesting “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” VH1 brought “Hip Hop Squares” back. Revamped, Ice Cube is the host of the new season of the show, along with DeRay Davis. Along with this, Cube is also the executive producer.
Ice Cube and DeRay Davis stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles, to speak with J Cruz on “The Cruz Show.” The interview centered around Ice Cube and DeRay hosting the new season of “Hip Hop Squares.” However, Ice Cube also hinted he has some new music coming soon.
