Had it not been for this, no one over here would have even addressed the speech Ben Carson gave. But, ever since he delivered his speech, social media has definitely drug him with their comments. For those who missed it, Ben Carson basically referred to slaves as immigrants.
To be clearer, Ben Carson gave a speech about immigrants also being on the slave ships, on levels lower than the slaves. He went onto say they worked worse jobs than the slaves. Coming from someone like him, those comments were especially insulting.
Samuel L. Jackson is among the many who saw Ben Carson’s comments and shook his head, to say the least. In unsurprising fashion, he called out the new Secretary of HUD for his comments. Taking to Twitter, Samuel L. Jackson took him to task.
