Even with all of the drama, it is hard to look at Birdman and not be impressed. Coming from the streets of New Orleans, Birdman has made a nice life for himself. The co-founder and CEO of Cash Money Records, he has fame and fortune.
Birdman also is the head of the label that was the biggest record label in the industry, not long ago. His Cash Money label was, and still is, home to Young Money. When Drake and Nicki Minaj were at their peak, his label also had DJ Khaled’s We The Best when Ace Hood was on fire.
Obviously, things have cooled for Cash Money, since then, but Birdman still made a ton of money from that period. Currently, Cash Money is going through a rebuilding phase and they have a partnership with Apple Music. Last summer, Birdman announced his Before Anything documentary would premiere there and May 12 is the official ate.
