New York Knicks are reportedly considering releasing Derrick Rose

Often, it’s said that as much as things change they remain the same. It is important to remember that things change more than they ever stay the same. The year of 2011 doesn’t seem all that long ago, but it’s been a long time since Derrick Rose was the MVP.

In 2011, Derrick Rose led the Chicago Bulls to 62 wins, their best season since the final Michael Jordan season. That season saw them add 21 wins to their schedule. The next year was the first of many Derrick Rose injury seasons, ending with the Bulls missing the 2016 playoffs.

Derrick Rose was traded to the New York Knicks, last summer, and the team is facing yet another frustrating season. Looking to cut their losses, the Knicks are dominating sports rumors. It is being said that the Knicks are considering releasing Rose from their roster.
