For years, a lot of people gave Tupac and DMX credit for being the only rappers to drop two albums in one year. However, Plies and Lil Wayne would do this in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Then, 2014 saw two albums from Rick Ross.

None of them have done what Future just did, however. Early in his career, Future promised to deliver an album a year. Missing only the year of 2013, Future has given a new album since 2014, but he just dropped two albums this week.

Future had plenty of success with his self-titled album and, before the week even ended, he announced HNDRXX. Initially, Future intended for this to be his sophomore album, before deciding upon Honest as his album. But, better late than never, as Future said, and the fans love this album and its contributions from The Weeknd and DJ Mustard.
