Okay, so “The Quad” is definitely the new guilty pleasure. This new drama comes on late at night, at 10:00, which is late for BET standards, just like “Being Mary Jane.” But, “The Quad” has a certain element about it that no TV show has ever had.
Following Dr. Eva Fletcher (Anika Noni Rose), “The Quad” deals with a woman who was just named president of a prestigious university. But, she is leaving a previous institution with controversy. Her actions have her daughter, Symone (Jazz Raycole) lashing out at her.
Last week’s episode ended with Eva falling back into her dalliance with student, Jason (Readaric Williams). He crashed her mixer, where he flirted with Symone, and tried to have sex with Eva. The people on Twitter feel Jason is going to ruin Eva’s life, but they have told him to move on, whether he finds a new MILF, or just gets with Symone.
