After this game with the Wizards and Pacers, the NBA is officially heading into the All-Star break. This will allow teams to catch a break and retool to finish the season strong. Historically, this is when the San Antonio Spurs would get serious and dominate the league.
There’s always been a relationship between NBA and hip hop. The past few years have seen this relationship grow much closer. Now, when the official All-Star events take place, they are headlined with rappers, just like the other events.
Kicking things off in New Orleans is Travis Scott, who is now four years deep in the game, on a known level. Having come a long way since his start, he is all over the NBA on TNT right now. Twitter is buzzing about his performance to launch All-Star Weekend.
