When it comes to the business side of hip hop, Master P is the go-to guy and he’s still here. A few years ago, Hip Hop Vibe did a story about P’s then-overlooked business record. Later that year, Master P returned to the spotlight and now people have to credit his works.
Not only did Master P forge his own path, he’s managed to maintain his wealth. Taking his knowledge and giving it to his children, they have done tons of television shows. Independently, they are also stars and the next one up is Cymphonique.
On the red carpet of Erykah Badu’s 20th anniversary Essence concert, Miss Conversation Piece spoke to Master P and Cymphonique for Hip Hop Vibe. During the interview, Master P discussed his upcoming King of the South: The Ice Cream Man biopic and his longevity. Meanwhile, Cymphonique revealed her new single, “Drippin,” and performing at the All-Star Game in their native, New Orleans.
