Just two years ago, most people counted Fat Joe and Remy Ma out. In the case of Fat Joe, he was considered old and washed up. Then, with Remy Ma, she spent so much time in prison and “Love & Hip Hop” was a sign of giving up.

But, following the “Love & Hip Hop” season, Fat Joe and Remy Ma delivered “All The Way Up.” The track became the summer anthem and got Jay Z for the remix. They would go onto be Grammy nominated for the Best Rap Song.

Fat Joe and Remy Ma came into “The Breakfast Club,” talking to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God about the Grammys. The first part of the interview saw them discussing Chance The Rapper, Drake, Kanye West, and Desiigner’s nominations, before discussing their album. They also touched on being indie, Big Pun, being independent, and more.
