Everyone who saw Fences knows how amazing that film is. Everything about it shows the struggle a man coming of age has contending with an aging father with regrets. It’s not easy out here, regardless of race, or gender, and with two men, it is always tough.
Denzel Washington, as people have gotten used to him doing, played the role very well. He was believable as a hardened blue collar worker looking to give his son the tough love he needs. Because of that, he took home the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor.
In his speech, Denzel Washington continued the tough love. It is never easy out here, but it is always possible, and the choice is always up to the person what they want to do with it. How he delivered it made Denzel Washington into the leading trending topic, right now.
