When Drake took matters into his own hands, he truly became the cream of the music industry. Already, Drake was immensely popular, due to his mixtape success. But, he would expand upon this when he dropped his surprise mixtape in 2015.
Ultimately, Drake would not deliver a new album until 2016. With that album, Drake ended up finally topping Billboard, something he did with a few Views singles. On the heels of that album release, Drake would go back and announce his More Life album.
The album was initially to come before the end of 2016, before Drake decided to push the album back. With the album delayed, there have been no added release dates. However, Chuck Creekmur of AllHipHop has tweeted that Drake will release More Life in celebration of his mother’s birthday, tomorrow night, and Rae Sremmurd, 21 Savage, 2 Chainz, and The Weeknd are guests.
